SEO Training Glasgow

SEO training that sticks after we leave the room

Hands-on SEO workshops and 1-to-1 coaching for business owners and marketing teams, built around your own website. In person in Glasgow or remote.

The challenge

Most SEO training is a slide deck nobody opens again.

Generic SEO courses teach generic SEO. Two hours on keyword research theory, a PDF of best practices, and a certificate nobody asked for. Three weeks later, nothing about how your team actually works has changed.

Useful SEO training isn’t a lecture, it’s a working session on your site, using your keywords, solving problems your team will hit again next month.

The test of good training isn’t what people remember. It’s what they can still do six months later without calling us.

Our Approach

Your site. Your team. Your actual questions.

Every session starts with a short audit of your current site and search performance, so the training addresses real gaps, not a fixed curriculum written for nobody in particular.

From there, we work through your actual pages, your actual keyword opportunities, and your actual reporting setup, so your team leaves able to make changes themselves, not just recite theory.

Training uses the same methods as our SEO services. Many teams combine a session with a one-off audit, or with our small business SEO plans where we handle the technical work and your team handles the rest.

What you get

What SEO training covers

  • On-page SEO fundamentals: How to write titles, meta descriptions, and headings that actually help pages rank.
  • Keyword research, hands-on: Live practice finding and prioritising keywords for your actual business, using tools your team can keep using afterwards.
  • Google Search Console and GA4 walkthrough: How to read your own data instead of waiting on a monthly report to tell you what's happening.
  • Content and blog SEO: A repeatable process for briefing, writing, and publishing content that has a real chance of ranking.
  • Local SEO and Google Business Profile: Practical setup and maintenance for businesses relying on local search and Maps visibility.
  • Technical SEO basics: Enough to spot common issues (broken links, slow pages, indexing problems) before they become expensive.
  • A written follow-up pack: Notes, checklists, and resources your team can reference after the session, not just a memory of what was said.

Process

How training works

Scope

A short call to understand your team's current skill level, your site, and what you actually need training on. No generic package pitched before we know that.

Prepare

We audit your site ahead of the session, so real examples and real opportunities from your own pages anchor every part of the training.

Train

Hands-on sessions, in person in Glasgow or remotely, working through real tasks rather than sitting through slides.

Follow Up

A written pack to keep, plus an open invitation to ask follow-up questions as your team puts things into practice over the following weeks.

FAQs

SEO training questions, answered

How much does SEO training cost?
A half-day session for a small team typically runs £450 to £700. Full-day sessions and ongoing 1-to-1 coaching are priced separately depending on scope. We'll give you a fixed quote once we understand what your team actually needs.
Is this suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. We scope every session to your team's actual starting point, whether that's a business owner who's never touched Search Console or a marketing team looking to sharpen existing skills.
Do you train individuals or only teams?
Both. We run sessions for solo business owners, small marketing teams, and in-house SEOs looking to fill specific skill gaps. Group size affects pricing and format, not whether we can help.
Can training be delivered remotely?
Yes. Most sessions can run either in person in Glasgow or remotely over video call, with the same hands-on format either way. In-person tends to work better for larger teams.
Will this replace needing an SEO agency?
For some businesses, yes, training is enough to manage SEO in-house from there. For others, training complements an existing engagement by helping your team get more value from ongoing work. We'll tell you honestly which situation you're in.
Do you offer follow-up support after the session?
Yes. Every session includes a written follow-up pack, and we're happy to answer quick questions as your team puts things into practice. Ongoing coaching can also be arranged if you want a regular check-in.
Do you train businesses outside Glasgow?
Yes. In-person sessions are easiest to arrange around Glasgow and the West of Scotland, but remote training works well for teams anywhere in the UK or beyond.
What's included in the initial scoping call?
A conversation about your team's current SEO knowledge, a quick look at your site, and a clear recommendation on session length and topics. No obligation to book afterwards.
