How do I promote my own website?
Website promotion or working towards a high ranking for your web business isn’t as hard as you think. Don’t get me wrong, to get on the first page in Google or MSN takes time and patience and if you use a good SEO company, you'’ll probably get there - but there’s tons you can do to self to promote your website, although I won’t give away everything, otherwise I wouldn’t have a business! But there’s some great SEO tips to come.
Firstly, never, ever trust an SEO Company that telll you they can guarantee a high ranking, or No.1 on Google or any other search engine, because they can’t. It’s not impossible, but apart from Google staff, or those at MSN etc. no one knows how they work. To ensure that Google remains the premier search engine, it’s obvious that whatever you search for, you should find!? Rarely happens on the first or second result result or page in Google. That’s because the websites that search engines return on the first few pages have either optimised them, are awesome, have lots of links (see Basic SEO part one) or are simply supplying the correct info (or all of the previous). Search Engines aren’t daft. However as they are based on computations, we can make sure our website design and optimisation is correctly done to ensure maximum web promotion.
